Any good chef knows that one of the most important and basic tools to keep in the kitchen is a high-quality set of mixing bowls. This is what makes the 8-piece Pyrex Mixing Bowl Set such a good choice, for both first-time buyers and well-seasoned cooks. As with other Pyrex glassware products, the bowls themselves are oven, microwave, and dishwasher-safe, easy to clean, and resist food stains and odors. Ranging in size from 1 quart to 4 quarts, each of the four mixing bowls comes with a tight-fitting plastic lid that makes it handy to store items or transport them without spills. Golfing is not just a sport or game; but it is a way of life. Golfers know the value of golfing supplies and equipment and seem to drag that in and intertwine it with everything they do. From golf balls lying around the house from good rounds to mini-putter racks in the living room and sometimes practice golfing cages in the backyard. So what better way to delight your golfing fanatic this year than with a little bit of golf in the bathroom with Colorful Golf Towels.
Colorful golf towels have two real benefits. Aside from their one hundred percent cotton feel and various designs; they are not really just for the golfer. They are not hideous golfing towels that wives will cringe at but they are stylish and classy as well as something any golf fan would love. Each towel adds a little bit of golf flavor in with a traditional towel state; unless you are purchasing towels for the course – as that is a whole different story. So surprise your golfer this year with Colorful Golf Towels.

Under blazingly hot conditions the Cox Classic wrapped up with Hietala winning it from Branshaw in a playoff. Now the playoff would be difficult under any circumstances but when you factor in 100 degree weather – well that’s tough.
The playoff went only 2 holes before Branshaw missed a put that gave the win to Hietala. More on this ‘classic’ golf event tomorrow.

We are blessed here in Omaha with many fine golf courses. In the west end of town, there is Shadow Ridge and The Champions, both of which are private courses. Tiburon is a great choice also in West Omaha. Moving east, there is Miracle Hills which is a pubic course of good quality and high popularity. It’s popularity may be due to it’s position in an office park setting which must send it many executives slipping out for an extended lunch or early office exit. Older public courses include Elmwood and Benson in mid-town. Field Club is a short but well loved course in the city’s older east side.
Wherever you are located and whatever your budget, Omaha has many fine courses for your enjoyment.
