Extending Your Garden with a Cold Frame

As I walk among the plants in my garden I am always surprised by the ones that are still going strong at this time of the year.  I now just smile knowing they will have the opportunity to keep on producing as long as they can because I have a cold frame that will help extend their growing period into late fall and early winter.  The cold frame that I own is made by Solexx.  It has been extremely helpful in my gardening plan and I have been pleased with it for years.

This cold frame has proven to be easy to use and has no breakable parts and is portable and can be moved anywhere.  Because of this, I have the ability to help my plants in any area of my yard, front or back.  I have been so pleased with my Solexx product that I recently bought a simple small greenhouse from them to place some of my potted plants in for the winter.  I am excited to be able to grow and love my potted plants year round without having to bring them all indoors this year.
